I'm taking the August MCAT and graduating in December. I don't intend on filing the amcas for this cycle and instead plan on applying straight to several of the smp programs. I would like to send my applications in as soon as I receive my mcat scores. When do the smp type programs begin taking applications for the following fall? Also, is there any advantage in applying to these programs early as there is in applying early to medical programs? Thanks.
