I don't want to be that rude guy, but did you really just sign up for this forum JUST so you could ask this question? You have 9 posts and 6 of them are on your own thread in which you are acting like these schools have ZERO other applications to look at.
There are MD and DO students that would kill for the response speed that DPM schools give their applicants. But you should be grateful that you even get responses back within a week. My cousin who applied to DO and MD schools said it took month plus to get responses back. You posted on a Friday, the next person said wait 3 to 4 more business days. Today is TUESDAY, that is just two extra business days.
Not like the school looks at your GPA and MCAT score and immediately send you "Congratulations, you are on to the next round for Podiatry school. Schedule your interview"
If it was that simple I think they would have their work cut out for them. See in those 7 hours between the posts you got an acceptance for an interview at one school. Took 7 business days to get your application processed and accepted by a school. Think about how long it took you to get accepted to your undergrad school. I remember mine, applied Monday October 6th 2008, what was suppose to be considered early enrollment period time only to find out that my P.O.S HS counselor forgot to stamp and send out every single students applications for the next two days and had to explain to over 20 students applying to MSU that we won't get early enrollment b/c she couldn't do her job correctly. I got my letter of acceptance from MSU on December 24th, CHRISTMAS EVE. Took 55 business days from when MSU's office received my application to the day they sent out the letter. And even Grand Valley was about 35 business days and they have about 7,000 less applications to look at per year than MSU!
So waiting it out seems like the best idea at this point. I hope this doesn't get deleted for being "too critical" of a response.
