hey guys,

i just have a question about applying: i was planning on applying summer '07 for admission for the fall 2008 class, but i haven't finished all my pre-reqs, i'll be taking genetics, finishing physics and taking speech over the summertime. Can i apply while I'm still taking all these classes and then submit my grades later?

thank you!

That's what I am doing for Fall 2007 and I got accepted. I finished just over half of the prereqs and am taking or will take 3 science prereqs and one nonscience prereq before class starts in August. I suppose it depends on the school, but I think most schools would be okay with it as long as you have your prerequisites finished usually by the spring semester before you start classes in the fall (but some schools like USN allow you to finish prerequisites over the summer). If I were you, I would apply for Fall 2008 because it sounds like you don't have that many more prerequisites to finish.

You don't need to finish up your prerequisites before applying. Make sure you take time to do them and have good grades. You can apply and finish them before you actually start pharmacy school
