I want to be more efficient with note-taking, and I tend to spend too much time on a slide/page at times, which when you go through a lecture that has ~70 slides, can add up.
Looking at my watch or the computer clock will be too distracting to keep looking up to actually check the time and actually even waste more time. I'm wondering if there's an app or anyone has an idea for how I can set something to beep (or something along those lines) at designated intervals.
I'm hoping to be able to do something like committing a maximum of 1 min. 45 seconds per slide (or page if reading), with a notification at the end of that period, but also a warning notification at the 1 minute, 15 second mark or something along those lines. I did my own searching for it, but was unsuccessful.
So I figured instead of wasting more time I could see if anyone here has heard or used such a technique.
