Hey guys,

so I'm just about to start submitting, and I noticed that if I submit around today or tomorrow, I should be expecting verification right around the start of June...(according to last year, but nobody knows for sure this year)

If all other things considered are ok (LORs, 2ndaries), how far behind will I be? (Or, will I even be that far behind?)

I guess I kinda freaked out looking at the amcas site right now as it says "give us up to 6 weeks to process the app" on the front page...and I heard about non-trads needing to apply EARLY EARLY on another thread...so lol, yeaaaa i'm scurrrred.

Do you guys think it'll be later or about the same time as last year?

I laughed at all the people freakin out on their apps...and now i'm the one pissin my pants. lol. i fail. 😛

If you look at last year's verification thread, people who submitted on 6/16 were verified by the end of June. I don't know why you think it will be the end of July. That's only the absolute worst case "6 weeks" thing, which isn't true unless you submit MUCH later.

You'll still be very early so there is no need to worry. Applying is a very long process so try not to get worked up so early.
