Ok...soooo...looking at the AAMC practice...I noticed that when you get you the alert that "you have X time remaining" the clock stops until you have click "OK". I also noticed the same thing with breaks.

Is this how is it on the real exam? Also, the clock stop when scrolling through pages?

Thanks!

On my AAMC practice, I think the clock does not stop and wait for me to click that "OK", I mean the "45 min left" one. The break clock does stop but I'm sure someone has said the real thing will start no matter you click on it or not.

I'm pretty sure the clock doesn't stop when scrolling pages. I remember that happening on the FLs, but for some reason I remember that not happening during the real deal.

Also, as Genemo suggested, I'm sure there are safeguards on the real test to prevent people from taking advantage of the time limits like that.

I took the test 15 days ago...boxes do pop up giving you your remaining time (definitely half way through, and ?maybe? 5 minutes to go? I can't quite remember). Anyway, once that timer starts ticking it's way to down zero, there's no stopping it. I think it actually runs in fast forwards sometimes...
