tips for application to columbia for advanced standing

Hi everyone!
Greetings to all!I am a new entrant to the forum.Of whatever I have read of it,have found it very helpful & friendly.Hope I can stick to the opinion with experience as well.
As of now,need some guidance in application process to the universities for advanced standing esp.Columbia dental school,new york.Any handy tips to avoid delay and assure some headway??As far as the scores go,decent enough (at the risk of sounding immodest)!!
Looking forward to some friendly advice.

My grades not extra ordinary,just fine for one month study for part 1.
In all,90 in part 1,TOEFL-273,GPA-4.0(1st &2nd yr),3.8(3rd &final yr)
Waiting for some tips

i think when schools ask for gpa they mean a consolidated gpa for all 4years of dental study, and not for each year.

columbia is very tough to get into and they are not too good with getting back to u with information when u need it. when u call they are not too friendly either. after all, they are ivy league!! they also have their own exam if i am not mistaken.

Wow !!!!!!!!!if you actually studied for one week to get that ,I wish you could let columbia know that.Yes,I am definitely in the wrong crowd.
