Hey guys! I'm finishing up my third semester of PT school. We'll be doing our first 8 week clinical rotation this summer. I've been assigned to a hospital where I'll be primarily doing SNF and outpatient. Apparently my CI does a lot of dry needling and spinal manipulations, which we haven't covered yet. Will I be expected to actually do these, or just observe?
I'm super excited about starting to apply what I've learned so far. I'm also happy that I only go 4 days a week, but my hours are 6:30 am to 5 pm on my clinical days and it's an hour away so that will be fun haha.
Overall, any tips on your first clinical rotation would be great! Thanks. 🙂
