Hey,

on the website, it is recommended that we submit a personal statement to the people we are asking for a LOR. Is this the the personal statement for medical school, or a "frank" personal statement describing who you are/why are you applying/remind them of the work you did in their lab?

Also, I can submit a committee letter and then also a few outside letters or is it either or? What if I get a committee letter from my school and then submit a letter from the doctor I shadowed or the lab I am in?
