Before COVID-19, I would never study at home because I get distracted easily. I always studied at school, public libraries, etc. Now with everything closing, I'm stuck here for at least several weeks, and I've found myself doing anything just to avoid studying until last minute which doesn't work the same way now as it did in undergrad 🙁

For anybody that studies at home, especially those who have transitioned to studying at home, what are some tips to stay focused and motivated?

Pomodoro Technique...cut your phone off/airplane mode while studying, back on during breaks. Use website blockers if you’re low on self control.

Edited to add: designate a spot in your house/apt for studying. NOT your bed or a high traffic area. Use this area only for studying, so it mimics the “get down to business” effect of going to the library.
