Hey everyone, I am currently a first year medical student. Our first block is basically anatomy and physiology and we don't have lectures over the material (I think my school is trying to limit the number of "contact hours"?). Every week we are given 3 X "High-Yield Notes" that range from 10-20 pages and every single sentence is pretty much high-yield and on our quizzes. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to working through this? It takes me forever because I first preview/outline it and then I take my own notes on it by answering each objective that we have. What I'm doing is not efficient or effective and I'd love if anyone has any tips!

+1 to Anki. I've never heard of classes working like that but you'll want to put basically every sentence into it as a cloze deletion card, if they're truly high yield items.
