Tips of Marking Questions

At what point do you choose to mark a question?

For some questions its obvious that I should mark them, but others I'm in a debate whether I should mark them or not. I wouldnt want to waste time by going over questions that I just freaked myself out on.

the system i used was like this:

If I have no idea about the topic and there is no way im going to get this question, I pick something and mark it. If I think I can get the question with a little more time, I leave it blank. That way at the end, I review incomplete questions (more urgent) which I can possibly get, and then review marked questions if I have time.

Not sure if this is efficient or what you were asking, but thats what I did
