Tips on researching schools?

Do most people just write off what the school site advertises? Some schools makes it very easy to write "why us" essays for and some sites are bare. For those bare schools are there any tips to find stuff about them? For example UNECOM wants us to write how we are a good fit for their curriculum, but I can't find anything about it besides reading some reddit complaint thread about how much they hate the school(lol). I would love ANY pointers on researching schools in general.

I agree we have school-specific threads for a reason.

There are also recruitment events, social media sites, YouTube/Vimeo videos, and student chapter websites for AMSA, SNMA, etc.
