Hi all,

I need some advice on how best to study for the boards. We have three weeks off from class. First year classes seems so distant that I think I will need quite a bit of refreshing for those classes. So, for those who have been through it, what do you suggest in terms of study materials, best usage of time, etc.

Also, I elected to take the computer version, so if anyone has experience with that, I would be happy to hear about it.

Thanks in advance.

I took my computer test & got 87.

I had about 3 months & did kaplan q bank , read kaplan book ( it wasnt that useful ) & I could never remember anything from the q bank as well.

I did dental decks & old exams pretty well.

Also I did study some parts from USMLE first aid book for step 1.

My most important tip would be , do the old exams well , you will find a lot of repeat questions ( i think i had about 30 - 40 % ) . I also took the computer version.
