Unless she had ferro-magnetic metal in her body, I'm not sure how that was justifiable.
 
I wonder how much the brain abscesses in 2008 contributed to her current symptoms.
 
You forgot the corollary to "tissue is the issue" which is "no meat, no treat"
 
It certainly sounds bad, but I always view cases reported in the media with some skepticism. It could have happened the way the article suggests but there may be other factors that go unreported or the report could just be simply incorrect.
 
Did this woman even ever have a cancer history?
