My wife and I were going through some boxes and I found this picture (my new avatar!) It is the whole reason I got excited about dentistry.
Story:
Less than a week after getting my braces off, I knocked out my two front teeth playing a good ole game of "church basketball" (you mormons know what I mean).......I don't know who was more upset me or my Mom.

Anyway, I was rushed to the ER, the MD called my dentist and was told to "shove 'em back in." He did and I was then transported to the dentist's office who amazingly fixed everything! I seriously thought I was going to end up looking like Mr. Ed's cousin. His restorative "powers" got me all excited about dentistry. My avatar is a picture he took right before he started fixing everything.

Hilarious. You don't know the meaning of contact sport until you've played "church ball" with the Mormons.

We're always playing mormon basketball here at UNLV, it's a blast. It's not uncommon to go home with a black eye or bruised rib.

Over half our school is mormon, it's like a big fraternity. It feels like mini SLC.

Like I've always said, I play one position in basketball--offense.

But you've gotta admit, it'll be nice to have the new class come in so we can whoop on them.
