wowwwwww. congrats to you guys that got interviews!!! i'm waiting on TMDSAS to send my app to schools still. i submited it 7/3 so I hope they get out quickly. and just retook my dat again 7/16. But hopefully will be able to get some interviews asap! so i know how ya'll feel, playing the waiting game.
 
Quick question,

How are you guys phrasing shadowing experiences?
Ex: Are you writing in the 300 character space actual descriptions of what you did or simply 'Observed Dr.?____'
 
I submitted 7/9/09 but am only missing a dentist's letter. So from what i read its okay to have some of those missing before interviews are out? And is anyone having the problem of test score saying NO but actually its in? cause i asked the support team and they said my scores are in but it still says no.

Just FYI, letter from a dentist is not required for UTDB and UTSA, but it is for Baylor.
 
other than San Antonio, has anybody received confirmation emails from Baylor or Houston stating that their application has been received and complete? 😕

I haven't received anything for any other schools.
 
I have only heard from SA. baylor and Houston haven't said they got my app yet. Do they wait for my school committee letter possibly?
 
I sent my application 6/29 and they finally submitted it to the schools on 7/22, 3 weeks later.

I've only heard from Baylor for secondary app a couple of weeks after I submitted on 6/29.

I hate waiting...sigh

Did they receive all of your letters/transcripts when you e-submitted it? Because I submitted mine 6/27 and sent payment a few days later, and I'm still waiting for it to be sent out to the schools 😱
 
i'm still waiting toooooooooooo. it still says submitted to TMDSAS 🙁
 
Never mind. Transmitted to schools as of yesterday! Now, more waiting. Haha 🙂
 
so i recieved my official test scores in the mail a week ago. therefore, i'm assuming that all the schools i'm applying to have also recieved my tests scores. however, my tmdsas status still says "no". should i give them a call in another 3 or 4 days if the status still hasn't changed?

this whole process is driving me crazy 😡. i'm really hoping tmdsas will submit my app this wed. b/c its been over 3 weeks now.
 
tmdsas status page is apparently not working (the little box on the lower right ... on your main page).
my info/materials on status page and the credentials page was contradicting. they tell you to go by the credentials section.
and about the DAT... my scores never actually showed up anywhere on the website. when i called them, all they said was that it will be taken care of when they are "processing" your application.
oh yeah, it took my apps a month for tmdsas to "transmit" to all schools. so u have one more week 🙂

however, you can still call them up to comfort yourself 🙂
their customer service sucks though. they dont even say bye, just hang up 🙁
 
Someone on predents has an interview at Baylor!

ARGHHH! I hate it! Even though my professor STILL hasn't submitted my last LOR and I'm retaking the DAT in two weeks I still hate not hearing anything!

hey "lphiewok",
these are the lists, I have done and hope it will work this cycle.

-I added 23 hours upperlevel Biol & NSC
-I will have my bachelor next year.
-committee letter instead of individual letters (3 letters from professors + 1letter from dentist+ 1 letter from employer + 2 letters from interviewers from UTD)
- a little extera community work
- praying 🙄

thanks for replying to PM..are you in-state or out-of-state applicant? its weird because last year they actually sent snail mail confirming that our application was complete and that all documents necessary are on file..maybe they just did away with it and are only sending interview invites...
 
i'm in-state. hmmm i don't know..guess they changed it up a bit

yes. you give me hope. since i submitted 7/3. only a little longer for me. 😳 maybe this week it be submitted to schools.

Yeah but it took about two weeks for TMDAS to finally update my status.
 
mine was finally sent out - they emailed me last night that it's been transmitted to schools
 
Does anyone know approximately how long it takes after its been sent to the schools before they contact you to let you know they've received it?

This is how my timeline went
6/23: submitted to TMDSAS
7/20: TMDSAS transmitted it to schools (they email you with a confirmation)
7/24: San Antonio emailed saying they received my apps
7/29: SA emailed with an invite


I think all Texas schools are staggering their interviews (San Antonio --> Baylor --> Houston) In that way, scheduling conflicts will be fewer...

i wish i was still working. waiting game is harder when you are bumming around. cant wait school to start!

I submitted mine 7/10/09 and my status page is the same way too. I also emailed them asking about the DAT score not showing up but I was told to have patience. So it's not just you experiencing 🙁! At first I thought I was forgetting to do something, but glad to hear that it happened to others. Hopefully, this waiting only lasts one more week :luck::xf:

it's been over four weeks. TMDSAS better mail my app out tomorrow or my face will look like this 😡 ... and then this 🙁

Hey longhorn pride (Hook'em 🙂), just wondering when did you submit yours? Did your DAT scores show up on your status?

Hopefully it will be this :luck: before 😡!
