I just want to make sure im interpreting this right....in rest position the tmj contacts the post/intermediate zones of the disc....it maintains this relationship during minor rotation and translatory movements. Then as the condyle is moved forward enough, putting enough retractive force on the disc by the superior retrodiscal lamina, the disc is rotated posteriorly. So in extreme opening, would the condyle rest on the anterior portion of the disc?

Thanks...my test is on aug 6th...just sorting out somethings...
