Hey

Im in a catch 22. I know that pharmacy is for me and if meant to be i will get in one day. But quite honestly now that its the summer between my junior and senior(the year I had always intended on applying) Im scared. I am a fairly good student. I have a 3.2 GPA but an honors university. I have a part time job, I am President of my pre-pharmacy club, Ive had very prestigious internships during the summers and I am involved in many many other things. I got a 73 on the PCAT but I definitely plan on taking it again and I anticipate a much higher score.

I kinda want to study abroad but I think i might be saying that because Im afraid if i apply that i wont get in. I dont know what to do but now would be the time to get myself together to apply.

What should I do????

If you apply, the worst thing that can happen is that you get rejected and then you can likely find out how you can improve your application for the next cycle...

i second that. looking back..if i were hesitant..i would really regreat. you'll be surprise what you learn from the application process. i'd say if you have met all the min prereq..apply..you can always retake ur pcat just in case.

Yeah, I focused on my negatives a lot too and almost talked myself into "improving my application for next cycle". The reality is, you ARE improving yourself for next cycle by applying this cycle. You know what to expect, what to improve upon, etc. AND you clearly have a lot going for you as an applicant.

Fact is, you will likely get in (almost a certainty from the stats you have given if you get your PCAT up a smidge). Apply apply apply, the worst that can happen is you are in the situation (with more knowledge) you were going to put yourself in anyway.
