What is the point of status pages if they are going to call/email you post-secondary?

Should I give the following schools a phone call (I've submitted secondaries already)

Loyola (been atleast month and a half)
UPenn
UCLA (submitted 8/27)

When do the UC's tell you that you have been rejected pre-secondary (ie. on their status page)? Or do they?

If you've already submitted secondaries and have been acknowledged as complete, you'll probably get a standard answer if you call. Something along the lines of "we offer interviews until X, and it's possible to have a status change anywhere between now and 2012." If you want to make sure you're complete, that's a different issue altogether.
