Hey,
I have a question directed to those who have worked or still work in the clinical / hospital setting as a Pharmacist. I am currently in the U.S. National Guard and may do a Pharmacy program with assistance from the Army.
I may either do a full time job due to obligations for 4+ years or may have a chance of being a National Guard Pharmacist. However, if that happens I would have some part-time commitments to the Army and have to be absent in the event I get a job with a hospital pharmacy.
My question is, do you see an advantage with a military pharmacist that would apply for a hospital pharmacy job? I would think so but wanted some insight from those who work in the clinical setting. If I have help from the military, I would go through a military residency program.
