Hi everyone!

I'm not doing as well as I should be on Physics 2. I have two 70's so far. There is a possibility of getting my first C since I started going back to school. I currently have a 3.1 cGPA and a 3.8sGPA. A C would drop me back to ~3.6 sGPA.
There is about a 50% chance I can get a B.

Should I drop i?

Wow, how the heck is there such a huge discrepancy for cGPA and sGPA. A 'C' is okay for so I don't think you should drop. Better buckle down and stop partying if you wanna get into med school.

He likely is a non-trad, who likely completed a non-science degree in his past.

It depends. If you are taking it as a summer class, it may be a better idea to keep going with it. Because for most (if not all) medical schools, you need two semesters of physics. If you drop it now, you'll just have to retake it. And it would be equally hard if not harder if you end up taking it during a regular semester with all the other classes.

Depending on how your teacher grades the class, it could be okay. I got a D+ (68.9%) on my first test, but I ended up doing well on subsequent tests (88%+) and got a "B" on the class. It would have been a "B+" at a traditional college.
