Hi all,
Another piece of advice to give. Nearly everyone thinks of participating in research to build on a CV. But always give serious thought to volunteer work in the community. Both with animals and humans. There are many opportunities in the islands to volunteer with both. Also, many residency programs in FP and IM have volunteer clinics always hurting for workers. Many cities have health fairs looking for workers. Some PD really appreciate this kind of work as well, and never forget to put it on your CV.....
