I found an interesting article on the Canadian Family Physician website. The author was actually profiled in the CMAJ a few years back: Shut out at home, Canadians flocking to Ireland's medical schools - and to an uncertain future . She subsequently finished her family medicine residency at the University of Manitoba.

To Ireland and back

Cheers, canucker

99.99% No.
She was in my class.
She is of Irish descent though.
Keenan is one of the most common surnames in Ireland (Bryne I think is the most common).

Cheers.

100% no - one of the first questions I asked her on the first day of med school years ago!

In the same class as roo and mick2003(right handle?).

BTW roo, got your email - will get back to you (?and PS) in a few days. Sounds good.

All of us are back in programs we wanted to get back into North America ... yes all.

I forgot that I wasn't in that picture!!

What happened to Paras Naik anyway? He had that website years ago also which could have been one of the precursors for all of the UK-Irish-Commonwealth IMG websites (for those going back to Canada).
