So after a cycle that has landed me on 5 wait lists and 1 decision pending I am starting to wonder whether its the 8 in verbal that is leading to my wait lists. With a 3.65 GPA and an unbalanced 32 (13PS/8VR/11BS), do you think I should re-take my MCAT in time for a possible re-application for this next cycle? This is my WAMC thread from my previous cycle:

That's a tough decision. You got the 32 MCAT on your 2nd attempt after you got a 26 on your 1st attempt. You only improved from a 7VR to an 8VR, but your improvement on the other sections was great. You are a better judge of your abilities/potential, but I personally don't see your verbal score improving much with a 3rd attempt. You also risk scoring lower than that awesome 13 PS and 11 BS, which will make it look like your 32 was a fluke.

If this cycle doesn't work out, then I think you should stick with the stats you have and instead focus on improving the rest of your application (LORs, ECs, and interviewing in particular) and applying to more mid/low tier schools. I do think you have a good chance of getting off at least one of those waitlists, so don't lose hope just yet. May 15th dude.

5 waitlists + no acceptance + X post-interview rejections = bad interview skills

I think it's hard to say for sure without all of the details (your overall application and what schools you applied to).

Many schools do not reject applicants post-interview at all.
