Out of curiosity, why is it that promoting a website based on your personal experiences is grounds for a ban? I think that's a little extreme don't you think. Some of us are here to help one another. If one of us feels they've benefited a great deal from a particular service, why is it consider a crime to share that information. I just find it a ridiculous reason to ban.

they prohibit solicitation or advertisement. it's listed in their policies and is regarded as grounds for banishment.

my guess for the reason behind is that if they didn't have these rules, every godforsaken company would post here about their offers and services. it's too keep all the clutter out and make it a useful forum.
