Sorry if this is not the correct thread for this type of post:

I don't have much by way of advising, so any help is much appreciated.

I took the June 18, 2009 MCAT and I am ready to fill out my AMCAS and submit. Am I supposed to wait until I get my scores back before I submit it, or will my scores automatically go to schools once they are reported (Mid-July)? Does it matter either way?

Ideally, I would like for schools not to see my GPA without also seeing my MCAT score alongside. Is a July submission considered a bit late for somebody on the longshot-end of the spectrum?

Thanks for the help!

Absolutely submit now. An MCAT score is not required for submission, and the score will be automatically added to your application when it's available (and that's when you'll be ready to roll).

The biggest difference is, if you wait until July, it will at least a few days longer to verify your application. If you submit now, you'll be verified well before your scores are available and there won't be any delay.

i concur. submit now. most schools don't even look at your app until all the stuff is in. they'll just put it in a folder that says 'look at later' and pull it out when they finally get your scores.

How about if you havent gotten all you letters in either? should you still submit and when you get your letters add them on?

Sorry if its a dumb question im another person who hasnt been well advised lol
