Hi, I just received my PCAT score and I didn't do too well, but I am already signed up for the OCT test and am frantically studying for it as we speak. However, I was just wondering if I should go ahead and click e-submit on Pharmcas since I have everything else in. I just don't want the schools to see my score and reject me so quickly. Will they see that I am signed up for the next test and put my application on hold?

Thanks in advance : )

From what I understand (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong), PharmCAS will submit everything to your schools now (provided you have everything in) and then send your October PCAT scores when they come in. If everything else is ready, I would absolutely submit now. No need to wait.

but if the school's doing review of application right now...they'll just have a nasty PCAT mark on file...theres no gurantee that the oct mark is early enough for early interview invites?

As long as you have marked down you are taking the october PCAT (there is a checkbox for that in pharmCAS) then they will wait for those scores before considering your application. It's still to your advantage to send everything in so that you can make sure the rest of your application is set.

i dont want schools to reject me when they see my crappy score so i think ill wait to submit...for now im waiting maybe i will submit it after all..dont know confused..but for now im just concentrating on studying for october..

They submit all the tests you took.

Would the school reject a person based on the their first and only listed pcat score or wait till the second one comes in? Meaning, their file will be on hold till the latest score comes in?

Oops. Binghamkid answered my question. Thank you!!!

They do not reject you. They will wait until you have received your Oct test score. Of course, if you wait for long, seats may be filled up, and they will reject you or anybody else.
