Big congratulations on finishing this process and finding out your match results. While there has been some drama along the way—on SDN and in real life—I sincerely hope that today brought good news for each of you. Welcome to a wonderful field. We are glad to have you.

Ps, if folks could avoid derailing this thread with posts about job market, residency expansion, SOAP, etc, that would be awesome. Let’s let the applicants—our future colleagues—enjoy today.

Barring all the stuff outside of clinical practice, I have maintained all along (many others here as well), that rad onc is the best field of medicine. The patients (including time with patients), technology, research, and the regular day-to-day is incredible.

Congrats! Enjoy the SUMMER it's your last one!!!!!

Congrats to everyone! We truly do have a unique field. I know of no other field that offers the time with patients, the physics, the interactions with other experts on a daily basis, etc. There are obviously things that we need to fix globally that are being discussed elsewhere, but man, I love my job and I'm sure everyone who matched will to.

For many you've worked for four years, studied for Step exams, done research at night and on the weekends, all with the goal of being a Rad Onc someday. Exhale for the first time in 6 months tonight, and enjoy this achievement.

Congrats everyone! As my name suggests I’m one of the victims of last year’s radbio exam but I still have zero regrets entering this field. It has it’s problems but that’s life. Please enjoy the moment and wherever you matched, make the most of your opportunity and you will be successful

Congrats on your match. Today you celebrate. I’ll save you all a pitchfork for tomorrow to join me. You ain’t seen nothing yet baby!
