This cycle did not turn out as well as I had hoped and unfortunately, as of yesterday, I was rejected from all of the schools to which I applied. I am trying to figure out the best moves to make as of now and I think that doing a one year Master's program would be the most beneficial. This of course would require me to write the GRE with very little time to prepare!

My question is how similar is the QR section on the DAT compared to the QR on the GRE? I just picked up some books today and haven't really had a chance to dive into it yet, but in flipping through the book it seems REALLY EASY!!!

I used Math Destroyer and received an 18 in QR on the DAT. Do you think that same book would be useful for the GRE? To me it looks like there are no word problems on the GRE-just more arithmetic and knowing how to read and interpret graphs.

With the limited time that I have, I want to spend my time as wisely as possible. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

GRE math is waaaay easier than the DAT IMO, Study your vocabulary, I did alright on my vocab section, but rocked the math section when I took the GRE, and I only studied the GRE for 5 days.

Did the GRE change yet? I hear the difficulty no longer adjusts as the test goes on and the vocab sectionwas being restructured.

Thank you all for your responses. After talking with some people that have taken the GRE and looking through the prep book some more I realized it wasn't going to require that much studying. Just looking over some vocab! Thanks!
