I am aiming to take my test the last week in August or the first week in September so that I can hopefully match this year. I feel a bit overwhelmed by all of the information and it doesn't seem to be sticking well. What would you suggest that I do, study-wise? I have been going through USMLE World and reading all of the answers and going through First Aid, but it is just taking too much time.

I think it's hard to give advice based on your questions (which are vague), I think you should be more specific about what the problem is.

I don't have enough time to read all of the answers in uworld.......and it isn't sticking anyway.......

You said you are taking Step 1 at the end of Aug/beginning of Sept? That's 4-6 weeks. That should plenty of time to go through all of UW, read all of the answers, and read FA as well, if you are spending adequate time each day on studies (roughly 10 hours). You can even cover all of RR path in addition.

Do a section in RR path, read over the same section in FA, and then do all of the UW Qs for that particular subject. Read all of the explanations in tutor mode.

Lather rinse repeat until you are finished with UW, RR, and FA.

As already suggested, you really should have plenty of time to do them all and read every explanation. My recommendation is to do UW on tutor, blocks of 50 random, and go through the explanations as you go. Take notes into a separate document by hand onto subject-specific lists as you go, then transfer them later into FA. That's a good way to do it, you've got plenty of time. Shouldn't take you longer than 2 hours a day to do a block of 50 UW w/explanations.
