How many programs did you rank? What number on your rank list did you match to?

I'm not sure how much value this thread will have when there is an enormous bank of statistical information about the whole process online without needing to poll a select few.

I ranked 11 out of the 12 programs I interviewed at. I matched at my 1st choice. This was for the 2016 OMS match.

Ranked 4 programs, only applied and interviewed for 6. Got into my first choice. My best advise would be only rank someplace you would seriously consider.
