Its only 8 AM, and its raining and I cant find my rain jacket!! 🙁 Im rather annoyed, part of me feels guilty for studying at home and not going to class... the other part of me says screw it and just bust my hump at home since thats how I learn better... plus my cats are at home with me, and they are more fun to study with that some 3 foot by 2 foot box that is the seat I sit in, trying to not fall asleep while in class...

ugh.. just wanted to vent about how we have an upcoming exam (next friday), Im sort of burnt out, and I just want to go back to sleep...

anyone else having a bad day? empathy would be appreciated, but is not required.

Juggling cats always makes a day brighter.

lets see...snow on the roads...rain in the sky...two hours of biochem to go to? Yeah...I feel your pain. Bad days suck, don't they? Anyways, hope yours brightens up soon enough! I vote stay with your cats and really focus on the work you've already started, sounds like class ends up being more of a headache than a help. I wish I had cats!!!

Man, I feel your pain. But, on the bright side you get to stay home with your furry balls of joy. 🙂 (I miss my cat).

Ha ha  Cat's are a scholer's best friend y'know. My little one of the three likes to sit on my shoulder and purr while I study. The other two come and sit on my books when they're not getting enough attention. They sort of schedule my breaks for me. Works out great. I always like studying at home myself. Don't feel guilty about it. And when you do occasionally make it to class pay no mind to the snotty "subliminal" comments about having no respect, wasting "parents" (I wish) tuition money, etc. Just do what works for you. I am surrounded by two furry loveballs as I write this. BTW😀

Surrounded by two furry loveballs, huh? No wonder you're enjoying your studying so much.

if only they let cats into Starbucks. . .what a happy study bunny i would be. 🙂

sorry to hear you had a bad day!! hope you got some work done.

i had a not so great day myself, but at least it was relaxing.

stayed home, slept til 11 (recovering from yesterday's final anatomy exam). .got up, wrote emails, checked online and found out i failed yesterday's exam, checked online a few hours later and found out i passed the overall anatomy class, stopped caring about the stupid head and neck test, thought about studying biochemistry but it didn't happen. 🙂

hurray for a day when i got NOTHING productive done! alright, off to get coffee with Lippincott and redeem this day at least a little.

Oooh, can I share my bad day story?? Yesterday was AWFUL!!

I've had this flu since Saturday, and yesterday (Monday) I dragged myself to class. I made it through 2 hours of lecture, and by the time I got to Anatomy Lab, I was totally comatose.

So, I'm standing there at the dissection table, staring into space and feeling really dizzy, and **THWACK** something slams into me from behind.

It seems that the guys at the anatomy table next to me lost control of their cadaver's dismembered leg. In the process of tugging on something or other, it flew off the table and literally kicked me, with the heel, in my popliteal fossa!

So, I'm sorry to hear about your bad day, and I hope tomorrow is much better for you. Look on the bright side: at least you weren't literally a foot and a half away from getting kicked in the ass by a dead guy!

That's gotta be one of the funniest med school stories I've heard yet!
