My friend has Tonsillitis and is currently on antibiotics. Her Doctor says that it is contagious. My neighbor is an E.R. Doctor and conflicts with the notion its contagious. Is Tonsillitis contagious?

Generally, yes. Most forms of viral and bacterial tonsillitis can be spread by droplet transmission.

By the way...this really isn't the place to come for answers to medical questions. That's what Google is for (or, better still, your family doctor). 😉
