Too late for DO?

Hey guys, I got my AACOMAS verified and just started submitting secondaries for DO schools. I know it's late in the cycle for MD schools, but wondering if I'm way too late for DO's as well. I have a 3.4 with 36 (14,12,10) MCAT with decent extracurricular activities.

You should get some interview love. In your case, it's not too late. Your gpa is average and your MCAT is above average. Good luck this cycle!

With those stats you'll still stand a chance. Have you considered applying next cycle though? You have a great shot at MD acceptance if you apply early.

Definitely apply. I know plenty of people that applied this late and still got in.

Just make sure to have all your ducks in a row. Have secondaries filled out and LORs ready to mail/submit so that as soon as your app is verified your ready to send those off.

DO schools have expectations for clinical experience also. I hope you continue to add clinical hours through this cycle. And hopefully, you've shadowed a DO.
