Hey everyone, I recently took the PCAT (July 22nd) and just a few days ago sent my transcripts to pharmcas. I'm waiting on one more LOR, but have not started on my personal essay yet. I did not expect the verification wait to be 5 weeks from pharmcas. Please someone let me know if I'm too late. Also, should I apply with my prelims so I don't have to wait 5 weeks for my official scores to come out to finally apply?

ED deadline is September 6. Plenty of time! Once you are done with your personal statement, submit your application. Your references can still submit their letters even after you e-submit : )

Oh I had no clue, how about PCAT scores? Can they be received after submition as well? Thanks for the quick reply btw!

Yes. It takes a while for PharmCAS to verify an application, so it is advised to submit it early (even if your scores are pending)!

What do you mean by the verification wait to be 5 weeks from PharmCAS?

Hi guys, I e-submitted my PharmCAS application today and got it verified and GPAs calculated just hours later. Now is the time to submit (I'm guessing they haven't received a lot of applications YET). : )

Thank you for asking this, I had the same question!

So you can submit while still waiting for LORs, but can you also go back to your application and see the status of them to make sure they've been submitted?
