Hi,

I hope everyone has turned in applications and is enjoying interviews! I had a question about doing another neurology rotation in Jan. The reason is I decided late to do a residency in Neurology and I have only done one rotation in Neuro. There's a program that I haven't got an interview yet but is my top choice and they have a spot open for a rotation in Jan I'm wondering if it's too late and if it looks bad to leave the rotation for other interviews.

Thanks everybody.

It's the best time because they will remember you when they are making their matching list. However, it will look bad if you take off often for other interviews. If you interview elsewhere, try doing it earlier or later. It is best to follow through a full rotation, particulalry if it is a sub-Intern rotation. Skiping to go to other interviews might look as if you are likely to skip work in the future.
