Am I the only one that has a problem with getting a letter from a college 3 to 4 states away for an interview in 3 days. I just got a request today 1/18 to go to South University in GA for an interview on 1/21. I am in MD and have a full time job. I'm sure you all know how much flights go up when you only have 3 days notice and especially around the inaguration in DC. Lucky me! If I call to reschedule does it hurt my chances? I believe that it will. I wanted to know if any others are having similiar problems with the lack of notices these pharmacy schools are giving for interviews?

I would definitely call them in the morning to tell them about your situation. And yes, I've found that the 3 notices I received so far were somewhat on short notice (no longer than 2 weeks prior), and they were all out of state. But, I applied to these schools knowing the possibility of being interviewed was real, so.... But yeah, 3 days is very short notice, and I'd call them to see if you can reschedule.

Oregon State sent my invitation this morning (Wed)--for an interview this Saturday. Luckily, I'm still in OR on my last week of winter break and was told i can skip the tour to make my flight back to school.
