So sorry for flooding the boards with my questions...but advice on this is really appreciated. I should have realized that the mcat is not offered in October or November but I didn't. I would like to to apply to schools in December, but now I will not have the mcat done unless I take it in September which I do not think is possible because I need more time to study. So will schools even look at my application if I have everything in but the mcat?

Sure. You will be ok taking the MCAT after you apply. Some of the schools will offer conditional acceptances if everything else looks fine. December is a good time for applying. You would be better off applying then taking the MCAT, as opposed to rushing yourself to take the MCAT if you don't think you're ready. It worked out fine for me! Good luck!!👍

If you have a poor GPA...schools will reject you if they don't have the MCAT in hand at the time of of your application decision...

If you have a decent GPA, apply early and you'll be fine...otherwise...wait...

It's on par, I think, with your co-applicants.

I say just go ahead and apply...with a 3.0+ GPA you should be good for most schools with a decent MCAT score...
