i have 6 full length EK verbal tests left (i've been focusing on ps last week) and i'm thinking of taking one everyday. would that do more harm than good? they suggest taking at least a day in b/w 2 exams and i'm afraid my scores might actually go down if i bombard myself w/ too many verbal passages.... any thoughts??

You know I'm in a similar boat. Honestly I am starting to thinkg too much verbal does bring your score down. I have been doing like 1 verbal test a day for about a week, and I see my scores going down rather than up. I may take it easy from verbal for a day or two. I'm trying so hard to get a 10, that I end up getting 8s and 9s. Ill prolly do a verbal once every other day.
Good luck.
how many questions do you have to miss to get a 10?
i dunno how this works really.

I've come to the conclusion to say SCREW VERBAL. I'm getting 8's on Kaplan, then 6-7s on EK, and a 6 on AAMC 3. Taken over 20 full lenght verbals and I'm just seeing diminishing returns. Sure it may be possible to bring it up one point or so, but as long as I get a 7 I'm happy. I have a much better chance at pulling my biology up to a 10 and keeping PS around 11-13 so that's what I'm going to focus on in these last couple innings of the ball game.
BTW, i never read in college, just attacked the questions, analyzed sample problems and figured it out. I have to say, I've read more this summer studying verbal then I have in the past 10 years of my life. 😱

to try to answer my own question.. if i miss 7 verbal questions, does that get me a 10ish?
I'm not really sure there is a way to 'improve' your verbal if you already have been scoring consistently... like once you get use to the style of the way they ask their questions, and have a plan of attacking the passages, there really is no point to keep on practicing (except to make sure you are diciplined in executing your plan of attack)
Im going to invest the next week and a half more into brushing up my bio and physical sciences.. cuz I think i can certainly afford to score more points there 😉

A few days ago I took 5 full verbal tests in one day. I checked all of my wrong answers too. Unfortunately, it did absolutely no good for me, my score remains the same (10). I think that you can learn the test to a certain point, but after that, u need long term practice to improve ur skills at it. I know all of the basics about what to pay attention to on verbal, but when it comes down to some of the real tough questions, I just can't figure em out within the alotted time.
