Hey guys, I officially started studying 4 days ago for my Aug. 21st part I exam. I began with the microbio section of the Kaplan Lectures Notes book, and 4 days later, I am just about half way through the entire section. For the first few pages, I just highlighted some things as I went along, but as soon as I hit the actual organisms, felt that I needed to make flashcards. I'm trying to just get what seems important for each organism onto each flashcard, yet, I can't help but wonder if I am being TOO thorough for my own good. I feel that dental school trained me to not leave any detail behind in my studying since I always end up kicking myself after the exam for not remembering what I thought was just a "random" detail. But with this Kaplan Lectures Notes book, perhaps all of its details are over the top and not necessary for the exam? If they are necessary, I'll just suck it up and continue to try to take in everything, but if not, I should probably adjust my studying now before it's too late! So for those of you who have any experience with the real exam and the kaplan lecture notes book, please share your thoughts!
