Took Composition 1 and 2 online

My pre-med advisors told me that there are some schools that doesn't accept classes that are taken online. Should I retake comp 1 and 2 in an actual classroom?

Has anyone been in this situation before?

If you have some schools you're interested in, you could check their requirements to see. I don't know for sure, but I think they would probably only care about science courses being taken online, not other pre-reqs.

Is it marked on your unofficial transcript as "online"?

If so, the above post applies.

I am doing an online degree, but the mode of instruction is not marked on my transcript, nor will my diploma be different than doing the degree in-person.

I'm not sure about your school, but online classes do not show up or indicate they were taken online on the transcript at my school.
