Took DAT today.. Do I have any chance..?

hey all.
I just took DAT and it was 3rd one.

PA 19
QR 18
RC 16
Bio17
GC 22
OC 22
TS 20
AA 19

It improved from last one, but..
I deeply disappointed about score b/c I graduated with low GPA.
I guess my overall GPA is around 2.99~3.01, and Science GPA is 2.7~2.8.
I heard one person can take 3 DATs max in the life. Is it true?
I think I should look for the other career.. I dont kno. Im just panic.
Do I have any schools to get some chance to get interview..?

Your scores are solid. I recently spoke to an admissions committee member and they said that if you have a 3.4 then you should be getting 18-20 on the DAT and that if your GPA is lower than that and you still did well (as you did) on the DAT then that looks even better for you. Low GPA is a bummer; you should call the schools you are interested in and run it by them to see what they think.

I am pretty confident that you will receive some interviews. To bad you did not submit already.

Be prepared in the interview to speak of and explain your low GPA.

I am looking to schools that accept low GPA like Howard and Meharry, brand new schools like Western and Midwestern, and many numbers of seats like BU, Tufts, and Temple.
I hope getting some interviews T-T

If you had a bad semester or a couple even, look into your school granting you academic forgiveness to boost the GPA a bit if you have not done so yet. anyone could go through a rough year.

You did awesome!! That is a very impressive DAT. You are only able to take the DAT 3 times unless you get someone from the Dental school to write a letter to ADEA and then they will grant you permission to take it again. Pretty much they just want to make sure you aren't working for a test prep organization and memorizing questions on the DAT.
