So Im very dissapointed with my math specially because It's what Ive always been best at since High School. The Time realy messed me up as I was only able to answer 25 of the 40.

Now Im scared that this score in QR will harm me too much when applying. I have a 3.72 GPA overall and 3.8 GPA in sciences. I have Shadowed a Dentist for 4 Months, Very little community work, Worked with my dad who is an Orthodontist for almost a year now. Im Hispanic, Came to live to the states 3 years ago. Applying to Columbia, BU, Tufts, UF, Nova, NYU and Pen. What do you guys think? should I retake, spply to more schools, or just stick to my current stats and go ahead with the whole thing? 😕

I think your stats are solid. You shouldn't have a problem getting in somewhere. Since you are applying to only 6 schools, I would check with them still to see if your QR will be that big a factor (although the consensus on this forum seems to be it isn't)

Could you possibly list your practice scores? Taking mine in 2 days and would like to see where I stand...(or get an idea)

Well I took the Kaplan course during the spring but it was mostly a waste of money since I missed 3 clases and couldnt even complete one third of the material. I guess It was a bad Idea to take it while taking a regular load of clases and working at the same time.

What I did do was read the kaplan book that came with the course once. Bought destroyer, and covered it about twice, except for the orgo which I did once. I got Top Score and Achiever to get the pace of the real test. I do think that achiever is too much compared to the real thing, specially the PAT section. I would say that Destroyer is perfect to fill in gaps and to learn the pesky tricks that might mess you up during the test, specially for the orgo. Top score was very similar to the real thing in every section except the reading which I found a bit harder.

My timing was bad throughout the test and I couldnt finish either chem, the PAT or the math. guessed 2 for chem, about 9 for the PAT and about 14 for math. I would say that stay away from achiever until you are super ready and super confident about yourself, other wise it will only make you feel bad. I think I would have done just as good on the test without achiever and only with the Destroyer and Top Score. Hope that helps!
