I just took my DAT today and am very disappointed in my PAT score.
Here are my scores
Academic Average 20
PAT 15
QR 18
RC 21
Bio 22
G-Chem 19
O-Chem 19
I graduated from UCSB in 2003 with a B.S. in Microbiology. My cumulative GPA is a 3.25. I've done a little research during my freshman and sophomore summers and volunteered in the Adventures in Caring program for the first two years. My only extracurricular activities are martial arts, which I've been doing since my sophomore year in college.
I applied to UOP, UCLA, UCSF, USC, Loma Linda, Tufts, Nova, and Arizona (CA Resident). My top three choices are USC, Arizona, and Nova and my AADSAS # is 1831.
Both my parents and my brother are dentists and I've been working in my parents office on and off since high school (I've done a lot of medical billing).
I was wondering if my chances at USC, Nova, and Arizona are still good with that low of a PAT score. I don't really want to go to UOP or UCSF...my brother graduate from UOP and I didn't really like the campus or the area.
If I take the DAT again in a few months I'm afraid my other scores will go down and my PAT will only go up a little.
I'm going to the USC admissions office tomorrow to see what they think, but I wanted to know what everyone on here thought.
