Hey everyone, I took my DAT on May 24th and here are my scores:
Bio 23
Gen Chem 23
Orgo 24
Math 21
PAT 20
Reading 24
For the Bio section I relied mainly on the 2016 DAT Destroyer and just made sure that I completely understood both the questions and the explanations. For anything I didn't understand, I went back to the Campbell textbook. I also used Khan Academy for a few topics just to get a visual understanding of what was going on.
For Orgo I used the 2016 DAT Destroyer as well. I made sure to know the Roadmaps on p.117 and wrote them out many, many times. Again, understanding both the questions and the explanations was my goal. I used the Klein textbook for any topics I needed further explanations on.
For Gen Chem I used the 2016 DAT Destroyer for questions and my college notes for content.
For Math I only used the 2016 DAT Math Destroyer. I felt that after doing every question a few times I was more than prepared. For the first few tests in the book I used as much time as I needed, the next few I allowed myself 5 extra minutes, and the last 4 I gave myself the exact amount of time.
For PAT I used Crack the PAT and for Reading I used Kaplan.
Overall I felt that the 2016 DAT Destroyer was the most helpful study tool and I would use the same study plan again! Hope this helps everyone that's figuring out how to study and best of luck!
