I took one physics class P/NP as a freshman (thought I'd be a french major) then decided to major in Chemistry where I took statistical mechanics and quantum mechanics.
I just want to know if these classes can supplement the absence of a basic physics class, or if I'll have to take the first semester of physics over again at CC. I'm submitting my application in June and I graduated from UC Berkeley.

I took one semester. The only issue is the quantum physics is described as physical chemistry on my transcript

You should call up some California schools and ask. Physical Chem sometimes substitutes for Inorganic/Gen Chem. They might ask for a syllabus or course description.. but you probably be in the clear instead of having this looming over your head throughout the app cycle.

Yeah, well I talked to USCF. They don't care actually, they are pretty free spirited about their course requirements.
