I took step 1 yesterday,
1)Most of my exam was Patho/Pathophys with more of the question being pathophys (65% Patho/Pathophys), the problem with the pathophys questions is they take time to figure out it is not like you know it or you don't type of question.
2)Pharmacology had the next largest number of question, I only read the FA for Pharmaco and felt comfortable with the question there were a couple of drugs that I just never heard of before.
3) All of my behavioral question where the ethical types of what you would do next except two where about personality disorders.
4) There were like 35 Micor/Immuno questions. The micor questions were direct the immuno you had to think about for a while. No parasites with lots of viruses.
5)Every NeueroAnaotmy question practically had a picture next to it but were not detailed.
6) Gross Anatomy/Embryo/Histo: 20 questions total with most being Anatomy.
7) There were like 5 molecular biology questions which I hated.
8) Most of the Biochem questions had to do with Fasting/Fed state, Insulin is up this is down....
In general how do I feel about the exam? I honestly do not know what to expect because it was all concepts and applying them. Going into the exam I thought I would do and feel better but anyways it is all over now and I am just hoping for the best.
