Step I Took STEP 2 today!!

....and it was a lot easier than i thought it would be. just thought i would share that since some of the step 2 threads on here were so gloom and doom that i was expecting to come out of the test feeling like ****. but for those who still have to take it, don't stress out, it's really not that bad (and i was a below-average med student)

maybe i lucked out and got an easy test but the NMS question book and step 2 secrets were really more than enough....the only hard part was maintaining stamina. by the ninth hour, i was about ready to gouge my eyes out-whoever thought that a nine-hour test was a good idea should have his head checked and be shipped to mongolia.

Congrats on getting through with it. How long did you take to prepare?

off and on for about one month. got through 75% of secrets and did 1.5 NMS practice tests. did a little kaplan q-bank, but not much. reviewed the notes that i took while studying for clinical shelf exams (this was very helpful i thought)

Just out of curiosity, what were you scoring on the NMS?
I take the test in a week and I'm trying to gauge if my NMS scores will be indicative of my knowledge, or if I'm just screwed

I was sick and tired of all those pessimist threads about Step 2. I'm taking mine in two weeks and was getting desesperate!!
