it was rough day but its over, i just want to say that the advice on this site is great but when someone tells you what to study and what NOT to study, you should take the advice with a grain of salt. on my test i had 2 hla questions, i had to know herbal meds, and i had a lot of derm stuff. i wish i could remember more about it all but its all just a big blurr now. as far as qbank goes its a great learning tool but thats it. to kinda compare styles qbank asks "what is this" where as the usmle ask "how does this work"

pathophys for the boards and wards rocks as after 4 sections with a fair amount of derm i read it and it helped...i dont recommend this for anyone just for the record cus i dont know anyone else who got more that a couple of questions on derm

if u have any specific questions feel free to message me...it may jog my memory, and when i get my score back i will post all my stats...as long as im not ashamed of my performance.

thanks to all of u for all ur advice

p.s. excuse the grammar...im beat

Congrats on being done. Sorry to hear about all the derm and hla stuff...i woulda cried if that happened to me. I also had to know herbal meds for mine, I didnt study them though, ooops. Just be glad its over.

I also agree with you about pathophysiology for the boards and wards. I helped me answer quite a few questions that I would have not gotten right otherwise. Its a great book but like you said its not for everyone; good luck.

I wish my exam had more derm and less freakin' abdominal anatomy. But what you say is true: everyone's exam is different. Congratulations on finishing! 😀

can you guys elaborate a bit more on patho for boards/wards? I mean, should it be used instead of BRS, or use 'em both, or what? thanks

yah....thts a good q.... cuz it seems BRS path is more mechanisms oriented, while pathophys for boards/wards is more clinically relevant. As such which is more import for the boards? Or which is more useful for the boards i guess is what we're asking....cuz at this point I dont think i can read both...
